Q&A
  • How long does it take from submitting a consultation request to receiving the results?

The timeline varies depending on the nature of the consultation. We aim to respond within two days of receiving your request.

  • When is a Confidential Disclosure Agreement (CDA) signed?

It can be executed concurrently upon the client’s request.

  • How does CND’s consulting role differ from that of a GLP testing facility?

CND is not a GLP testing facility. We provide consulting on a broad range of issues related to nonclinical drug development, as well as toxicologic pathology evaluation services.

  • An unexpected finding was observed in an ongoing toxicity study. What information should we prepare for consultation?

Please submit a brief inquiry, and CND will contact you to discuss the details and arrange an appropriate schedule and consultation method—by phone, email, video conference, or an in-person meeting.

  • Do you provide pathology slide peer-review services? How should the slides be submitted?

Please submit an inquiry, and we will contact you to arrange the details. Glass slides may be delivered by mail, courier service, express delivery, or in person. Whole-slide images (WSIs) may be provided by email, external hard drive, or another mutually agreed method.

  • Can you provide consultation based solely on in vitro data, without animal studies?

Yes, certainly. We also provide consultation on a wide range of in vitro studies in addition to animal studies.

  • How are consulting fees determined?

Consulting fees are determined through mutual discussion based on the scope and scale of the requested services.

  • Can you also review documents intended for submission to international regulatory authorities such as the FDA, EMA, or PMDA?

Yes. We review and provide consultation on documents intended for submission to both Korean and international regulatory authorities.

  • Can the consultation results be cited in documents submitted to regulatory authorities?

Yes. All consultation materials are prepared to a standard suitable for submission to regulatory authorities.

  • Can small biotechnology companies also use CND’s consulting services?

Yes, of course. We work with both large pharmaceutical companies and small biotechnology companies.
