The Society of Toxicology Strategic Plan proposes several goals to enhance the impact and recognition of toxicology. One of the strategic priorities is to build for the future of toxicology by providing current educational opportunities and increased resources and training. This webinar series aids in reaching these goals by providing information on educational opportunities and resources in the field of risk assessment. During the graduate and postdoctoral training, the early career Toxicologist often receives very little, if any, exposure to careers in Risk Assessment.
 

The Goals and Objective of these series are: (1) To promote a better understanding of Risk Science and careers in Risk Assessment in private industry, government and other sectors. (2) To increase and improve SOT members network, in particular for early career scientists, and to allow follow-on interactions between students and early-career toxicologists and risk assessors with the intent to develop mentor-mentee relationships.
